Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the ToolDesktop Tool and Utilities Hub. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Version 1.1 · 2026

Notice: This document may be updated from time to time by the site owners. Please check back regularly.

1. Acceptance

"The Service" refers to the ToolDesktop web application and any tool made available through it. By accessing the Service you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

2. The service

The Service provides client-side utilities such as financial calculators, formatters and generators. Calculations run entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. We do not receive, transmit or store the values you enter, and we never see the results those tools produce.

We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool at any time. A tool may be withdrawn if it is inaccurate, insecure, or creates legal exposure.

3. No financial or professional advice

The calculators are informational only. Nothing produced by any tool constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting or medical advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any instrument or service.

Results depend entirely on the figures and assumptions you supply. The Service assumes a constant rate of return or interest, ignores inflation unless you enter it, and does not model taxes, fees, charges, early-repayment penalties, changes of terms, reassessment, market volatility, or the precise timing of cash flows. Real-world outcomes will differ, sometimes substantially.

Verify any figure independently with a qualified professional before you rely on it, and consult a licensed adviser before making any decision. Past performance does not predict future results.

4. Your content and conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • interfere with, disrupt or degrade the Service, including by scraping it at a rate that imposes unreasonable load;
  • reframe or resell the Service as your own without written permission;
  • remove or obscure attribution or proprietary notices.

5. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time, or that any calculation will be accurate or complete.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the Service, which is zero, or the minimum permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version here and changing the "version" as shown above. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through whichever support channel is published alongside the Service, or through the details on the site's feedback page.
